
On February 21, a delegation from Shenzhen Hospital of the National Cancer Center, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, led by Deputy Director of the Medical Affairs Department Ji Yong, Deputy Director of the Nursing Department Zhang Ying, and Dr. Yan Xinxin from the GCP Center, visited Shenzhen Cell Valley. They were warmly received by Wang Jianxun, Chief Scientist and Professor; Tang Xiaomeng, Deputy General Manager; Fu Yuchen, Assistant to the Chairman; Sun Rui, Minister of the Marketing Department; and Jia Haitao, Medical Expert at the Precision Medicine Department.


Accompanied by Assistant to the Chairman Fu Yuchen, the visiting guests toured the Smart Exhibition Hall of Shenzhen Cell Valley. They gained a preliminary understanding of the company's strategic planning in the field of cell and gene therapy, its founding team, and its unique advantages in core technologies such as retroviral vector preparation and cell product production processes.

During the symposium, Chief Scientist Professor Wang Jianxun extended a warm welcome to Deputy Director Ji Yong and his delegation, providing a detailed introduction to the development history, core technologies, and future plans of Shenzhen Cell Valley. As a major public service platform for the biopharmaceutical industry in Shenzhen, Shenzhen Cell Valley possesses domestically leading industrial production technology for retroviral vectors and offers full-process services ranging from antibody screening and viral vector construction to CAR-T cell preparation. Currently, Shenzhen Cell Valley has successfully manufactured several GMP-grade CAR-T cell products, treating numerous patients with hematologic malignancies with significant clinical efficacy.
Deputy Director Ji Yong shared the clinical experience and technical advantages of Shenzhen Hospital of the National Cancer Center in the field of tumor prevention and treatment. He pointed out that precision oncology is the future direction of development, and cell therapy technology holds immense potential within it. Both parties engaged in in-depth discussions regarding the application prospects of cell therapy in tumor prevention and treatment, models for clinical research cooperation, and talent development. Deputy Director Ji Yong expressed the hope of leveraging the technical platform of Shenzhen Cell Valley to promote the application of cell therapy in clinical oncology, thereby providing more treatment options for patients.
Professor Wang Jianxun stated that Shenzhen Cell Valley will fully leverage its technological advantages in the field of cell therapy to strengthen cooperation with the Cancer Hospital, jointly conduct clinical research projects, and accelerate the translation and application of scientific achievements. Simultaneously, Shenzhen Cell Valley will provide technical support and talent development services to the Cancer Hospital, assisting in the enhancement of the overall level of tumor prevention and treatment in the Shenzhen region.
This exchange visit has laid a solid foundation for cooperation between both parties in the field of cell therapy.
